Annabel is a senior occupational therapist with a special interest in mental health and is a registered private health and Medicare BAMH mental health provider.
Annabel provides clinical supervision for occupaitonal therapists.
Annabel views health as a variable continuum throughout our lives, that can be disrupted and challenged by complex life events. Annabel has extensive experience of psychological focused interventions, and has specialized in trauma informed care, mindfulness and sensory modulation, to enhance clients stress management and coping skills. She uses an integrative psychological approach to support clients overcome hurdles in achieving optimal health whatever their life circumstances.
Annabel was trained in the UK. She attended Salford University (B Sc. Hons) and Manchester University (Adv Dip. Counselling). She has enjoyed working and developing mental health programs for 30 years both in public and private community mental health. Annabel has taught at Curtin University and Edith Cowen University, Perth WA, and enjoys the mentor role in professional supervision.
Annabel migrated to Australia 24 years ago and when not working she has a passion for the arts, exploring the land, both in her own backyard, the coast, and the outback with her extended family.
