Resistance training for the soul.
Ohm Fit teaches mindfulness and relaxation skills for people who live with chronic pain, stress and/or fatigue. Developed by Sasha Wray (Occupational Therapist) this 8 module online program provide an easily accessible and supportive space to become “Ohm Fit”.
Ohm Fit helps you to be more of who you are by building the “muscles” for mind, body and soul awareness. It is well appreciated that physical exercise is essential for good health. What about training your ‘awareness muscles’? The World Health Organization (WHO) recommends 30 minutes a day exercise 3 x week for health. The effects of exercise continue through the day and week. Mindfulness and relaxation training is just the same.
This is resistance training for the Soul.
What do you learn in the Ohm Fit Program?
Ohm Fit builds meaning in life through mind, body and breath awareness. Over the 8 week program you learn:
- acceptance and commitment therapy principles
- mindful movement
- how to meditate
- relaxation strategies
- self awareness
Who can attend?
Ohm Fit is for anyone who experiences persistent pain, fatigue or stress. This includes those with:
- Chronic pain from inflammatory or neural causes
- Complex Pain
- Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS)
- Long COVID
- Fibromyalgia
- Connective tissue disorders such as Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, Arthritis and Lupus
You require an initial consultation with Sasha Wray (Occupational Therapist) prior to attending.

What happens in the program?
The full Ohm Fit program runs 1 hour a week over 8 weeks. Each week has a focus topic : Beginners Mind, Being Present, Sitting with discomfort, Opening up, Values, Committed action, Pure awareness, Meaningful Living Integration
You are invited to access to the Ohm Fit site which provides additional information, recordings of meditations and exercises for self directed and self paced practice.
